A slow moving fish like creature's tail flapped against the sandy earth. She could tell she was close to the water due to the ocean like terrain, but how far the mass amount of sand would last would only be an estimate. For all she knew, she could be in the middle of a desert. No, it isn't hot enough to be that. She thought, her blue scales reflecting the sun into an unknown amount of height. Her sleek pelt just sparkled in the brilaint sun. I'm drying out... She thought, knowing that if she stayed out too much longer without water that Her scales may start to crack and send a fury of pain onto her.
In the distance, something caught her eye. The sparkling teal waves of the 'ocean' ahead. The seal-wolf's jaw soon dropped open. It's...It's perfect... She mumbled to the world around her, completimenting the 'sea' ahead of her. As she slowly approached and more water became visable, soon something caught her eye. More sand, and a lot of it...Sitting in the middle of body of water lie an island, land that would be almost impossible to take, and even easier to protect. When i set out to find a new home, I never expected anything like this. She though, letting a howl ring out from her teal muzzle, telling all to back off...It was her's and it 'always' would be.
Still, she continued on her way toward the water to keep herself from drying out, though she would starting marking the place with her scent to make sure any wolves wanting the area would get the idea that they weren't getting it without a fight...To the death. Recruits will still be needed though. She thought, still 'hopping' toward the body of the water. While I check the borders, I'll look for anyone willing to join. She thought, quite proud of herself.
